Physical Inventory
Menu 9.20 - Physical Inventory Bar Coding
Menu 9.20 is used to conduct Physical Inventory if you have a Bar Code Scanner or Hand-held Device.
It's recommended to password protect Menu 9.20 – Use Menu 12.1.14 to maintain passwords for menu paths on 9.20. Password protect Menus 9.20.1, 9.20.2, 9.20.4, 9.20.5, 9.20.6, 9.20.8, 9.20.10 and 9.20.12. Remove the password only when employees will need access to a menu path. Retaining a password on menu paths lessons the possibility of an employee entering incorrect data by only allowing users into the menu who should be in it.
Note: Prior to beginning the Inventory Procedures all steps must be completed on the Inventory Preparation Checklist.
